Important notes:
1. Starting hour for evening classes. To
accommodate
the needs of most tax students, we have requested the administration to
schedule weekday evening classes to begin at 6.30 p.m. Although
the
administration will do their best efforts to accommodate us, because
of
increasing enrollment and limited space there are no guaranties. In the
event that we cannot begin classes at 6.30, we will have to revert to a
5.25 starting time. A notice to that effect will be posted on the MST
web
site. This note does not apply to summer classes; summer classes begin
at 6:00 pm and end 9:10 pm.
2. E-Mail list. If you have
not done
so, we request that you ( whether a current, prospective or former
student)
register to be added to the MST e-mail list. You can access the form to
register at: “Join the MST e-mail list”,
which can also be found on the MS Tax Web site. The info you provide
will
be kept confidential. We use the list to communicate with students on a
timelier fashion and provide students with various relevant
information.
The list also helps us to better manage the MST program. Please note,
some
info is not disseminated except via the e-mail list.
3. 1st day reading: Once you have registered
for any of
class, please feel free to send an e-mail to professor about 1-2 week
before
classes begin, by clicking on e-mail address for the professor to
request
reading assignment, if any, and any other pertinent information for the
1st session. When e-mailing, please specify the the name of
class.
4. Books. You can order books and have
them shipped
to you (or reserved) via the web site. To order, click on the Madison
Campus Bookstore Please note that books for the tax program are
only
carried in the Madison bookstore.
5. Directions and campus map.
For driving
directions
and a campus map showing location of buildings, click on campus
map.
University policy on
canceled classes and faculty assignment:
The University reserves the right to cancel any class for which there
is
insufficient enrollment, to close a class when enrollment limit in that
class is reached, and to make any schedule changes required, including
change of hours, days and campus location. In addition, the University
reserves the right to make last-minute changes in faculty assignment
owning
to circumstances of an unforeseen nature. When and if possible, notice
of such changes will be posted on the MST web site. |
