Master of Science in Chemistry/

Concentration in Pharmaceutical Chemistry


The Master of Science in Chemistry with a Concentration in Pharmaceutical Chemistry is intended to serve the needs of the pharmaceutical industry in the north Jersey area. With the help of experienced industrial adjunct faculty, the Department provides a needed, rigorous, and flexible course of study in this important area.

This program is intended for professionals in the pharmaceutical industry wishing to advance their skills and credentials. Financial assistance in the form of teaching assistantships and research scholarships is not available.


Minimum Admission Requirements:

1.

Graduation from an accredited college or university.

2.

Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 24 credits in undergraduate chemistry with laboratory work, including physical chemistry and organic chemistry, a working knowledge of calculus, and one year of physics with laboratory.

3.

Applicants also must meet all the general admission requirements for matriculated students.
