All Becton majors are required to complete one (1) credit of physical education. The courses are designed to give students the skills required to pursue lifelong fitness.

The department also offers a minor called Sports & Movement for students wishing to pursue a career in this fast-growing field.

The Sports & Movement Minor:

This minor provides an interdisciplinary understanding of concepts related to the areas of sports and movement. It is recommended for students who are interested in applying the arts and sciences or business disciplines to understanding the world's major pastime or who have a career goal of working in the sports field.

The Sports and Movement minor consists of eighteen (18) credits. A listing of the required courses can be found in the Undergraduate Studies Bulletin obtained from Admissions. For further information, please contact Professor Desilets.
