 A Low-Residency ProgramModules
There are no courses in the traditional sense, but rather writing modules and residencies. Four writing modules, approximately ten weeks long, will be offered each academic year, two in the spring and two in the fall. Each module will be under the direction of a faculty mentor with additional advice from members of the cadre of global readers. Students also will comment on each other's writing in on-line workshops. There are no grades, but rather a pass-fail system. Students must complete six modules in their genre and the Craft and Form module as the third in their program. The remaining module is an elective in which students work in another genre.
