Terese Svoboda's new poetry collection, Treason, was published by Zoo Press in October 2002. For sample poems, www.zoopress.org/Svoboda.html René Steinke read from her novel in progress, Holy Skirts, at Valpariso College in September 2002. Her essay on the Baroness Elsa Von Freytag Loringhoven, the historical inspiration for the novel, appeared in The New York Times Magazine. Walter Cummins and William Zander contributed to A Century of American Icons (Greenwood Press), along with other members of the Becton College English and communication faculty. Walter Cummins' essay, "From Mimeograph to HTML" was included in WithoutCovers: Literary Magazines@the Digital Age (NotaBell Book from Purdue University Press). William Zander's most recent poems appeared in The Pacific Review and Rattapallax. Thomas E. Kennedy's latest novel, Kerrigan's Copenhagen, was published by Wynken de Worde of Galway, Ireland.
