Public Transportation
The Pemberton and Mt. Laurel Campuses are served by NJ Transit Route 317, a bus line connecting Philadelphia, Asbury Park, and intermediate points in Cherry Hill, Moorestown, Mt. Laurel, Hainesport, Lumberton, Mt. Holly, Pemberton, Browns Mills, Lakehurst, and beyond. The Pemberton Campus is also served by the new BurLink shuttle bus, connecting Pemberton, Mt. Holly, and Willingboro with numerous intermediate stops. For bus schedules and route maps, contact the BCC Office of College Relations at ext.7332 at (609) 894-9311 or (856) 222-9311.

College Lounge Areas
At the main campus in Pemberton our lounge areas for students are spread throughout four buildings. We have a large student lounge in the Lewis Parker College Center, but most students now lounge in our newer buildings. The Parker Center contains our older classrooms plus two lecture halls, the college theater, bookstore, and numerous offices and labs. Other buildings at Pemberton include the Academic Center, Integrated Learning resource Center/Library, and Physical Education and Fitness Center. The Mt. Laurel campus opened in 1995. We currently have a small student lounge and cafeteria in the Technology and Engineering Center building. In late 2001 we will open the Enterprise and Science Center building, which will contain an expanded Follett College Bookstore, new science labs, a large auditorium, and other features. In 2002 a new academic building with expanded student services, offices, classrooms, and computer labs will open at Mt. Laurel.

Bookstore
Burlington County College has bookstores at both its Pemberton and Mt. Laurel Campuses. These stores are operated by Follett College Stores, Inc. and sell a variety of textbooks, college-logo clothing, educational supplies, and snacks.

Textbook purchases will be fully refunded/exchanged within seven business days of the first day of the semester OR within two business days of purchase if after that date. Within these time periods, textbooks are fully refundable when returned in the same condition as purchased (have not been written in, highlighted, or underlined) and with the original receipt. Shrink-wrapped sets being returned must still be in their original shrink wrapping. Once the textbooks are removed from the shrink-wrap, they are no longer returnable. Any textbooks purchased during the last week of classes or during exam week are not refundable but may be sold back at the end of the semester during the scheduled book buy-back period. If a student drops a class (proof may be required), a full refund is available for 30 days from the start of the semester. The College Store is not responsible for books selected by instructors for a course and then not used in that course. Therefore, the College Store will not give refunds on such books unless they meet the conditions above.

There is ample free parking available at both BCC campuses. However, all students are required to register their vehicle, obtain and display a parking permit, and park only in designated areas.

Library
The college operates a three-level, comprehensive library at the Pemberton Campus and a branch library at the Mt. Laurel Campus. The computerized card catalogs of both libraries are connected via the Dynix computer network with the Burlington County Library System.

Math Lab, Writing Lab and Writing Center
The math and writing labs are located in the Academic Center at the Pemberton Campus. Instructional assistants are available to assist students.

Service Learning And Cooperative Education
Students may earn up to four credit hours per Cooperative Education semester, depending on the nature of the job and hours worked. Students are limited to a maximum of 12 credit hours of Co-op. The credits apply toward graduation in the Elective category or, in some cases, as a Co-op requirement in programs which have a mandatory Co-op component.

Another option for selected students is Service Learning. This program, available on a limited basis to students in some Psychology, Art, and Journalism classes, enables students to work in real-life community situations and enables the students to put to practical use the lessons they learned in the classroom.

BCC students can choose from a wide range of clubs and organizations. The latest list and description of clubs is available in the college's Student Handbook/Planner.
