Daniel Twomey, Director CHRMS, Professor of Management
BS, MS, State University of New York at Albany; DBA, Kent State University

Professor Twomey is published in the areas of strategy, corporate entrepreneurship, organization design and business-academic relationships in the Academy of Management Review, Journal of Organizational Behavior and the Journal of Small Business Management. Dr. Twomey is a national leader in creating partnerships between business and academia and is Director and a co-founder of the Center for Human Resource Management Studies. He is a member of the Board of Directors of LearnShare. Professor Twomey has taught and conducted research at West Virginia University, University of Bradford, England, University College Galway, and Durham University Business School, England.

Richard Ottaway, Professor of Management
BA, East Carolina University; M Div., Virginia Theological Seminary;
PhD, University of Manchester, England

Dr. Ottaway, co-founder of CHRMS and a Fulbright Scholar, has published three books, many articles in scholarly and popular journals, and serves on several editorial boards, including Human Resource Management International Digest. Honored in 1990 with FDU’s prestigious Distinguished Faculty Award for Teaching, Professor Ottaway teaches business ethics. He has taught and conducted research at Cranfield University, England; Indian Institute of Management, Ahmendabad; and Northeastern University, Shenyang, China.

Joel Harmon, Associate Professor of Management
BA, City College of New York, MS Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute;
PhD, State University of New York at Albany

Dr. Harmon is a specialist in managing strategic change and in the strategic management of human resource as well as information technology. He is currently an officer of the Eastern Academy of Management and the Eastern Case Writers Association, and sits on the panel of the American Arbitration Association. As a consultant, Dr. Harmon has directed programs in organization development and change, survey designs and analysis, as well as management development and training for many organizations.

Rosemarie Twomey, Associate Professor of Business Law
BA, State University of New York at Albany; J.D. West Virginia University College of Law

Professor Twomey specializes in the laws governing human resource management and has published articles in the Northeast Journal of Legal Studies, Business Forum, and Journal of Managerial Psychology. Prior to entering the field of education, Professor Twomey was in the full-time practice of law.

Drew Harris, Associate Professor of Management
BA, University of West Florida; MBA, PhD, New York University, Stern School of Business

Dr. Harris’ teaching interests include strategic use of human resources, leadership and management, team effectiveness, international management, and total quality management. His current research focuses on organizational transformation, spirit in the workplace, and human resource metrics. Dr. Harris leads the qualitative assessment of employee survey services and research. He has presented papers and seminars to many audiences on turnover, workforce stability, and cooperating for success.

Gwen Jones, Associate Professor of Management
BA, Gustavus Adolphus College, BS University of Wisconsin-Madison, MS St. Mary's University, PhD, University at Albany, State University of New York

Dr. Jones specializes in change management, management skills, and human resource management. Her research interests include effectiveness of change management strategies, unethical behavior in organizations, and diversity issues. Her work has appeared in the Journal of Applied Behavioral Science, Human Resource Management Review, and Journal of Business Ethics among others. She has conducted executive training and organizational change consulting in a variety of profit and non-profit organizations.

Scott Behson, Assistant Professor of Management
BS, Cornell University; PhD, State University of New York at Albany

Dr. Behson has a special interest in workplace flexibility, organizational climate and culture, and organizational change.  He has presented his work at numerous conferences including the Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychology Conference, Academy of Management Meeting, and Eastern Academy of Management Conference. In addition, he has published articles in The Industrial-Organizational Psychologist and Disability Studies Quarterly.  He currently teaches the Managing Change and Management and Change of Human Systems courses.  Dr. Behson has also taught at the State University of New York at Albany and the Universidad del Salvador, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
