General Purpose Computer Lab FDU and the School of Computer Sciences and Engineering provides an open lab for the general use of computer science students. The open lab is located in the basement of Becton Hall, room 104.
Classes are taught in the open lab whenever scheduled by the faculty. Just before a class begins, students would be kindly requested to stop their work and leave the lab, allowing only those taking part in the class to remain. The lab is staffed by Lab Assistants during the hours of operation. Help with programming assignments and general computer use are provided by the lab assistants. Hours of Operation for Summer 2006:
This schedule is valid till Friday August 4, 2006 Any issues regarding the lab can be addressed to the School's Laboratory Director, Mr. Dritan Bitincka or by calling 201-692-2288. Networking & E-Commerce Lab This is a specialized lab where students are instructed in the hands on approach of configuring the systems required to develop network solutions. This lab is located in the basement of Becton Hall, room 103.
All Students who need extra time to use this lab, outside of classes, have to SIGN IN and SUBMIT their Student IDs to the Lab Assistant in room 104. The Lab hours for this lab are similar to that of the general purpose lab. Any issues, problems or even suggestions regarding the lab can be addressed to School's Laboratory Director, Mr. Dritan Bitincka or by calling 201-692-2288.
