Hardware, Software, and Textbooks

Students may use computers at their homes and workplaces, as well as those at any FDU location. Textbooks will be assigned for each course, and students will be able to take advantage of the rich technical resources available on the Internet. In addition, students will have access to the University's on-line library catalog system and computing resources by logging on to the University Network via Telnet.

The following equipment is needed to access our web site:

• Computer with at least a Pentium microprocessor, 128 MB RAM, SVGA Monitor
• Fast modem
• Web browser -- latest version of Internet Explorer/Netscape Navigator
• Any communication software
• Internet connection

You can purchase textbooks from publishers directly, from your local or WWW bookstores or from Fairleigh Dickinson University's Bookstore [(201) 692-2094].
