Fairleigh Dickinson University is licensed by the New Jersey Commission of Higher Education to offer and confer the Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE). The program has been in existence for 30 years. This degree program offered through a new method of delivery, the Internet, is within the purview of the existing program approved by the State of New Jersey.
Fairleigh Dickinson University is accredited by the Commission of Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. The University has obtained Commission approval to offer the existing MSEE over the new medium, the Internet, starting in the Fall 1998 semester. The on-line MSEE program allows students to complete the MSEE entirely over the Internet without any residential requirement.
The distance learning program builds upon the existing
traditional campus-based MSEE program offered at the Metropolitan campus and formerly at FDU's Fort Monmouth Graduate Extension
Center. The curriculum and course contents of the on-line
program are the same as the existing program offered by the School
of Computer Sciences and Engineering. The only difference is
the method of delivery.
