Academic Resource Center

SUCCESS Students and the Academic Resource Center

As adults return to college, students in the SUCCESS program may want to avail themselves of the services of the Academic Resource Center, located in Robison Hall. The Academic Resource Center offers tutoring as well as workshops in study skills, writing, and reading. Help is available on an individual basis and in small group sessions. Many times just a few sessions may help a student understand material presented in a course, but in other instances the tutoring may continue throughout the semester. There is no charge for services provided by the Academic Resource Center, but a student is required to fill out an application before an appointment can be made. Since many SUCCESS students work, they can avail themselves of tutoring during the evening hours as the Academic Resource Center is open until 10:00 pm.
