On behalf of The Psychological Corporation, I would like to thank you for being our customer and let you know about new support materials available to assist you in your use of the WIAT-II. First, we want to make certain that you are aware of a new web page that deals exclusively with WIAT-II administration, scoring, and interpretation. The WIAT-II web page may be accessed by logging onto www.PsychCorp.com and clicking on “Learn About WIAT-II.” One valuable resource you will find there are the Frequently Asked Questions regarding the test and its software. This is the place where you may go any day and time to get most of your questions answered! The page will be dynamic, with new information added on a periodic basis, so remember to check back frequently.
As a WIAT-II user, it is important that you check your kit and scoring programs to make certain that you have the most current versions of the manuals, software and software updates. Software updates may be downloaded by logging on at www.PsychCorp.com, clicking on Software Support, then clicking on Product Updates. There is no charge for software updates. If you do not have the updated manuals please contact Ms. Carol Friedeck at 1- 800-872-1726.
We have also compiled a library of materials, and made them available to you on our website. In addition to the WIAT-II PowerPoint there are PowerPoint presentations on a number of other products and topics related to assessment. Many of them have been featured at state and national meetings. To download, simply log on to the website and click on “Training Materials.”
In addition to web support, we are also pleased to announce the release of the new WIAT-II Training CD. This CD is a useful tool for training new WIAT-II users or for updating experienced WIAT users. The CD can be a valuable resource for small districts, or for those that wish to support individual study for their staff members.
