Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence, Third Edition (WPPSI-III)

Multiple Correct Answers

While reviewing the new WPPSI III and getting ready to add a new section  to our web pages, John Willis and I note that Item 25 of the Matrix Reasoning test can be done with two different reasoning approaches, resulting in two different answers.  Does anyone else see this?  The answer given in the manual and on the test protocol seems to be one correct way of doing it, but do others see the other answer?

Below is the response given by the representative of the test company

This just came to our attention about a week ago.  Either score can be counted as correct.

So for Item #25 the answers are the one noted in the manual and record form AS WELL AS  the next highest numbered choice.
