[1] These are the standard or scaled scores used by the test publishers (please see the last page of this appendix).   The percentile ranks and stanines in the last columns provide a common measurement that is the same for all of the tests.

[2] Test scores can never be perfectly reliable, even on the very best tests.  Lucky and unlucky guesses, barely beating or missing time limits, and other random influences inevitably alter scores.  This score interval shows how much scores are likely to vary 90% of the time just by pure chance.

[3] This score compares the delayed recall score to the delayed recall score that would be predicted from the original recall score and the length of the delay.  "Low Average" (stanine 4) means that the delayed recall score was only slightly lower than the exact score that would be predicted from the original recall and a three-day delay.
