Fall 2009
Sunday, August 30th (10am-4pm) - Residence halls open for New Student Welcome Week
Tuesday, September 1st (10am-4pm) - Residence halls open for returning students
Wednesday, September 2nd - 1st Day of Classes
August 1st – September 14th - Room Freeze Period
Monday, September 14th - Room Changes begin (by appointment only after noon)
Tuesday, September 15th - Last day to increase/change meal plan in Enrollment Services
Friday, Ocotber 6th - Last day for room/board plan refunds
Tuesday, November 24th (7pm) - Residence halls close for Thanksgiving Break*
Sunday, November 29th (2pm) - Residence halls open from Thanksgiving Break
Dec. 16th – Dec. 22nd - Final Exams
Tuesday, December 22nd (7pm) - Residence halls close for Winter Recess*
*Closings - Students who need to remain on campus for classes/exams are the ONLY individuals permitted to stay beyond the published residence hall closing dates/times. Those needing to stay must receive approval from the Office of Residence Life at least (1) one week prior to closing and in accordance with the Office of Residence Life’s published guidelines. All other residents must vacate the residence halls for breaks at the published time on closing day, or within 24 hours of their last class/exam, whichever comes first. Those failing to do so will be subject to penalty fees and/or disciplinary action.
