Summer Projects 2009 ____________________

Village and Park Avenue Card Access - All student bedrooms in Village and Park Avenue are receiving new card access locks similar to those already found in Rutherford Hall, the Twomblys. With the completion of this project students will have the convenience of not needing to carry a key in addition to their student ID. Come Fall 2009 all students will enjoy a "keyless" residence hall experience.

Wilder and Vanderbilt Hall Furniture - First Year students in our new Living/Learning Communities will enjoy new bedroom and common room furniture in Wilder and Vanderbilt Halls. Similar to the furniture installed over the last few years in Florence Twombly Hall, this environmentally friendly furniture is a wonderful upgrade for these students.

Twombly Lounge Furniture - New furniture was purchased for both the lounge side and study side of Twombly Lounge. Large new study tables make it easy for student to work in groups or to spread out as they study for that big exam. New sofas offer an area to relax, enjoy a program or maybe even watch a movie during the most recent Tuesday Night Twombly.
