Hoosiers Take Fairleigh Dickinson Baseball, 13-4
Geroni, McLaughlin each knock in two. 

Bradenton, Fla. – The Fairleigh Dickinson University baseball team dropped a 13-4 decision to Indiana this afternoon in its first game of a six-game Florida trip.  The Knights fell to 1-6 on the year and Indiana improved to 12-3 overall.            
     The game was knotted at 3-3 until the top of the sixth when the Hoosiers got four runs on three hits and one Knight error. Indiana struck for four more in the eighth and two in the ninth to put the game away.
     Jesse Thomas went 2-for-2 for the Knights and drew three walks. Tom McLaughlin went 2-for-3 with a pair of runs batted in and Pat Geroni knocked in two with a double. Eric Brooks (1-2) suffered the loss, giving up four earned runs in five and two-thirds innings.
     Fairleigh Dickinson returns to action on Sunday, March 17^th against Northern Illinois at 10:30 a.m.
