FDU Fencing

ITHACA, NY -- The Fairleigh Dickinson women's fencing team moved to 10-10 on the season with a 1-2 day at the Cornell Invitational. The team defeated James Madison before falling to host Cornell and fellow Ivy Princeton.

Cathleen Ferris swept three bouts from Cornell and won two over each James Madison to go 7-2 on the day. With the help of wins from Sabina Orsi, Samantha Hardisty and Sue Ou, the sabre team beat both JMU and Princeton and narrowly lost, 4-5, to Cornell.

The team returns to action at the NIWFA Championships on Saturday, March 2nd.
