Fairleigh Dickinson Men’s Golf Finishes Third at Tri-match
Mark Dunne fires 77 for Knights.

Chesterfield, N.J. – The Fairleigh Dickinson University men’s golf team placed third in a tri-match with host Rider and Manhattan.  Rider won the match with a team total of 313, while Manhattan combined for a 329 and the Knights finished at 340.

            Mark Dunne (Dublin, Ireland) led all Knights with a 77, firing a 37 on the back-nine.  Rob Warren (Egg Harbor, Twp., N.J.) carded an 83, Doug Foley (Ontario, Canada) shot an 85 and Mike Leondi (Jefferson, N.J.) rounded it out with a 95.  Dunne’s round was tied for third-best in the match.

            The Knights will return to the links April 8^th and 9^th when they compete in the Hofstra Invitational at Harbor Links Golf Club.
