Mark Dunne Earns All-NEC Men's Golf Honors
Knights finish 11th at 2002 NEC Men's Golf Championships.

Hollidaysburg, Pa. - Mark Dunne of the Fairleigh Dickinson men's golf team earned All-NEC honors after firing a two-round total of 156 (80-76) and finished tied for sixth out of 55 competitors at the 2002 NEC Championships.  As a team, the Knights finished 11th at 682 (337-345).  Central Connecticut State (623) won its second-ever Northeast Conference Men’s Golf Championship on Tuesday, dethroning three-time defending champion UMBC at the par-72 Scotch Valley Country Club.
          Dunne was in a tie for 22nd place heading into Tuesday's action, but fired a 76 (4th-best round on the day) to vault into the top 10.  Mike Leondi finished at 170 with rounds of 82 and 88.  Also competing for the Knights was Doug Foley (87-91: 178), Rob Warren (88-90: 178) and Brett Burrows (102-97: 199).
