Fairleigh Dickinson University's first and longest tenured men's basketball coach, DICK HOLUB, is the fifth inductee to the Hall of Fame. In his 18 seasons, Holub posted 13 winning seasons which added up to the school's second-best wins total of 233. Holub had the school's first 20-win season, leading FDU to 22 wins in 1951-'52 and to 20 wins in 1952-'53. Holub also recruited and coached six of FDU's 22 1,000-point scorers including Reggie Foster (1,054 pts./1,045 rbs.) and Tom Fox, who holds the school record for points in a single game with 48. |
