The second former baseball pitcher to be inducted into this year's Hall of Fame class is MICHAEL RITCHIE '88. Ritchie's career at FDU as one of the premier power pitchers in the Northeast Conference are still apparent in the Knights record books. In his career, Ritchie tied the school record with 17 career victories and is currently tied for second with 17 career wins. He holds school records for career strikeouts with 235, innings pitched with 277 and complete games with 17. He also ranks second on the career list with appearances in 57 games. In the single-season record book, Ritchie is tied for first with 11 games started, is second with six complete games, ranks fifth with 80 strikeouts and is eighth with 76 innings pitched. |
