Fairleigh Dickinson Men's Tennis Downs Iona, 4-2
Green wins 11^th straight, Bogdanov wins sixth straight.

Teaneck, N.J. - The Fairleigh Dickinson University men's tennis team defeated visiting Iona College this afternoon by a score of 4-2.  The Knights improved their fall record to 5-2 with the victory.

Fairleigh Dickinson took the top four singles matches to clinch the win.  The doubles point was not completed due to darkness.  After sophomore Alex Sarria (Cali, Colombia) took first singles, 6-2, 6-1, senior Boris Bogdanov (Fair Lawn, N.J.) won his sixth straight match at second singles, 7-5, 3-6, 6-3.  Freshman George Green (Leeds, England) also extended his impressive win streak to 11 straight, taking third singles, 6-3, 6-7, 7-5.  David Wagreich (Old Bridge, N.J.) also got a win at fourth singles, 6-4, 7-5, his fifth consecutive singles victory.  Sarria and Wagreich also paired up at second doubles for a win, 8-3, before the match was called.

The Knights return to action on October 24, when they travel to Monmouth for a 3:00 p.m. match.
