Dickinson Men’s Tennis blanks St. Francis (PA), 7-0 Blair,
Pa. –
Fairleigh
Dickinson swept every match to blank host St. Francis (PA), 7-0, in
men’s tennis action on Sunday.
The shutout moved the Knights’ record to 7-4 on the year
and 2-2 for the spring.
The
Knights won each match in straight sets, led by Alex Sarria (Cali,
Columbia) taking first singles.
Boris Bogdanov (Fair Lawn, N.J.) followed at second
singles, George Green (Leeds, England) at third, Dave
Wagreich (Old Bridge, N.J.) at fourth, Angel Rubio at
fifth and Paul Wawrynek (Brooklyn, N.Y.) at sixth.
Green and Sarria paired up to win at first
doubles, 8-1. Bogdanov
and Rubio won at second doubles, 8-4, while Wawrynek
and Wagreich teamed up for an 8-1 win at third doubles.
The Knights take to the
courts again on March 24th at Monmouth. Doubles Singles FINAL
