Knights Compete at Manhattan Invitational
Teams post four first-place finishes

RIVERDALE, NY -- The Fairleigh Dickinson men's and women's track and field teams recorded four first-place finishes at the Manhattan College Invitational.

Dane White won the women's shot put with a throw of 12.24m, Melanie Porterfield won the women's 55m hurdles in a time of 8.51 seconds and Fredyla Urena won the women's 3000m in 10:56.30.

On the men's side Duncan Bitok won the 3000m in 8:56.01.

Tia Wright posted a personal best in the women's long jump with a distance of 5.50 meters.
