Aidan Walsh Places Fifth in Mile at IC4As
Porterfield and White compete for women at ECACs

Boston, Mass. - The Fairleigh Dickinson University men's and women's track and field teams ended their indoor season on a high note, with Aidan Walsh (Dublin, Ireland) posting a fifth place finish in the Mile at IC4As and Melanie Porterfield (Sicklerville, NJ) and Dana White (Camden, NJ) competing at the ECAC Championships.

Walsh bettered his personal record by more than two seconds with a 4:07.52 preliminary time in the event. He scored four points for the Knights with his time in the finals (4:09.23).

Porterfield ran a 9.22 in the 60 meter hurdles while White threw 13.36m (43'-10") in the shot put, a top 15 mark at the meet.

The weekend concludes the indoor track and field season for the Knights who look forward to outdoor season beginning at the Virginia Commonwealth Invitational on March 22nd and March 23rd in Richmond, VA.
