Knights to Send Nine Athletes to ECAC and IC4A Championships
Six men, three women to compete at regional meets

HACKENSACK, NJ – The Fairleigh Dickinson University men’s and women’s track and field teams will be more represented at the ECAC and IC4A Championships this time than in years past with nine Knights having meet qualifying standards. Six men and three women will travel to the Weaver Track and Field Stadium in Princeton, New Jersey for the championship meets held concurrently.

Dana White will be competing in two events for on the women’s side. She qualified for the shot put earlier this season and hoped to meet the heptathlon standard of 4,500 points but fell just short. However, since there were fewer than 12 heptathletes declared who met the standard, those heptathletes who had not met the standard were selected, according to the highest point accumulations until the field of 12 was filled. White received the final selection and will be competing in her second-ever heptathlon after a 4,354-point, fifth-place finish at Penn Relays in April.
