Women's Hoops Signs Dean College Standout Kyrea Roberson
Jersey City native averaged 13 points and 15 rebounds last season

Hackensack, NJ -- Fairleigh Dickinson women’s basketball head coach Sandy Gordon Gaglioti has announced the signing of Kyrea Roberson to a National Letter of Intent.

The 6-2 center from Jersey City, New Jersey has contributed her talents for the past two years at Dean College in Franklin, Massachusetts. She averaged 13 points, 15 rebounds and three blocks per game as a senior for head coach Bill Craig, helping the team to their first Region XXI Division II Championship and a 22-3 record. Roberson earned First-Team All-Region and First-Team All-Conference in both of her years with the Bulldogs in addition to team Most Valuable Player honors. She holds all game and season rebounding records at Dean College and finished fourth in NJCAA Division II in rebounds per game in 2001-02. Roberson attended Ferris High School in Jersey City.

"Kyrea is very athletic and runs the floor extremely well," says Gordon Gaglioti. "Her excellent rebounding skills will add another dimension to our front court. We’re excited to have her come to Fairleigh Dickinson."
