MOON TOWNSHIP, PENNSYLVANIA -- The Fairleigh Dickinson women's basketball team held a slim 17-14 lead ten minutes into the game but allowed just seven more points in the first half, going into halftime with a 35-21 lead.

The Knights continued to outshoot the Colonials in the second session--holding them to just 17.9% (5-28)--and eventually cruised to a 71-47 decision for FDU's third win in four games.

Leading all scorers was FDU's Melanie Prol who scored 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Karen Tiedemann and Natallia Marchanka both scored in double-digits for the eighth straight game with 12 points and 11 points, respectively. Marchanka added six rebounds, five assists and two steals in her 26 minutes. Betsy Blom led all rebounders with eight boards.

The Knights improve to 7-13 on the season, 6-5 in the NEC while the Colonials falls to 3-17, 0-11 NEC.
