Dickinson Falls in Overtime to St. Francis (PA), 2-1
Jillian D'Onofrio tallies second assist in third game
LORETTO, PA
--The Fairleigh Dickinson University women's soccer team fell 2-1
to St. Francis (PA) in Northeast Conference action.

Dickinson took a 1-0 lead just eight minutes into the match when sophomore
Kelly Geraghty (Elmont, NY/Sewanhaka) fired a 10-yard shot
from the right side into the net off a pass from freshman Jillian
D'Onofrio (East Northport, NY/St. Anthony's).
The lead held until the 67th minute when the Red
Flash netted the equalizer on a shot from senior Kristen Arnott.
The
Red Flash's Beth Bradley scored off a corner kick in the first minute
of overtime to hand Fairleigh Dickinson the 2-1 loss.
"We
had four good chances in the last five minutes but just didn't finish,"
says head coach Peter Gaglioti.
"We played extremely well against them but were unfortunate."
The
Knights fall to 0-3 on the season and 0-1 in the NEC. St. Francis (PA) improves to 3-1, 1-0 NEC. Fairleigh Dickinson returns to action at Robert
Morris on Sunday, September 16th for a 12pm match.
