Soccer Drops 2-1 Decision to Robert Morris

MOON TOWNSHIP, PA
--The Fairleigh Dickinson University women's soccer team fell 2-1
to Robert Morris in Northeast Conference action.
The
Knights shutdown the Colonial offense for most of the first half until
Robert Morris opened the scoring at 39:47 and then scored less than a
minute and a-half later to take a 2-0 advantage.
Fairleigh Dickinson's lone senior Stephanie Williams (Randolph,
MA/Braintree) scored her first career goal at 82:07 to get the
Knights within one, but they could not capitalize again, dropping a
third consecutive 2-1 decision. Sophomore Megan McDonnell
(Richmond Hill, NY/Cardozo) made four saves in the effort.
Fairleigh Dickinson falls to 0-4 on the season, 0-2 in NEC action.
Robert Morris improves to 2-2 overall, 1-0 in the NEC. The
Knights return to action at Sacred Heart on Wednesday, September 26th
for a 4pm match.
