HACKENSACK, NJ – The Fairleigh Dickinson University (7-17, 5-11 NEC) softball team dropped two games to the visiting Monmouth (15-16, 9-7 NEC) Hawks in conference action, 1-0 and 7-2.

The Knights’ Nicole Farrissey (Fr., RHP, Paramus, NJ) pitched the second-year program’s first one-hitter, allowing one single in the fourth inning and walking four.
