to Play Home Games at Foschini Park
Knights' home field will be in
Hackensack
HACKENSACK,
NJ
– Fairleigh Dickinson University Director of Athletics Steve Hurlbut
announced today that field number seven in Foschini Park in Hackensack,
New Jersey will be the home of the 2002 Knights’ softball team. “We
are very grateful that the City of Hackensack has committed to share this
beautiful facility with us,” said Hurlbut. “The quality of the
facility and its proximity to campus make it the perfect home for our
young team.”
The
park, located just one-half mile from the campus, is opposite Bowler City
on the Midtown Bridge Approach off of River Street.
“City
Manager James LaCava, Superintendent of Recreation/Culture Miriam Ferguson
and Public Works Superintendent Jesse D’Amore were instrumental in
working out the details of this arrangement.
We are excited about helping them showcase this first-class
facility,” Hurlbut said.
