Fairleigh Dickinson Women’s Tennis Edged by St. Francis (NY), 4-3
Puga and Magid take singles matches for Knights

Flushing, N.Y. – ­ The Fairleigh Dickinson University women’s tennis team was edged by host St. Francis (NY) this afternoon, 4-3.  The Knights’ record fell to 1-1 on the year.

Fairleigh Dickinson opened up the match by taking first and second doubles to earn that point.  Marisa Puga and Elina Magid teamed up to win 8-4 at first doubles, while Kyle Schmitz and Katerina Perlova paired up to win at second doubles, 8-3.

 

Puga and Magid each won their singles matches as well.  Puga won 6-0, 6-3 at number one singles and Magid took second singles, 6-1, 6-1.
