GETTING TO FDU-METROPOLITAN CAMPUS
By Air: Closest airport is New Jersey’s Newark Liberty Airport, which is about a 30-minute drive. You can also use John F. Kennedy Int’l Airport and LaGuardia Airport in New York City with estimated driving distances of 60-75 minutes. Teterboro Airport is in fact the closest one, but since it is a very small airport you have to check with the airline carrier if they have any flights into Teterboro Airport.By Car: The Metropolitan Campus is close to such major thruways as the Garden State Parkway, The New Jersey Turnpike, and Routes 4, 80, 287, 78, and 24. Consult the directions below most appropriate route.
From North: Take the Garden State Pkwy South to Exit 163 to Route 17 South, then stay right for flyover onto Route 4 East. Exit Route 4 at River Road. Campus parking is on the right.
From South: Take the Garden State Pkwy North to Exit 161 to Route 4 East. Exit Route 4 East at River Road. Campus parking is on the right.
From West: Follow Route 80 to the Garden State Pkwy North. Proceed on Garden State Pkwy to Exit 161 (Route 4 East). Follow Route 4 to River Road exit. Campus parking is on the right.
From East: Take the George Washington Bridge, follow signs to Route 4 West. Exit Route 4 at River Rd. Campus Parking is to the left, past the athletic fields.
By Public Transportation: Frequent bus service from the New York City (Port Authority is about a 35-minute ride) serves stops at River Road in Teaneck on Route 4. Contact Rockland Coaches (201-384-2400) or NJ Transit, www.njtransit.com, (201-762-5100).
