Forty plus years later and the music of The Beatles still sounds as relevant and
revolutionary as ever. It’s almost a rite of passage for any budding music enthusiast
to discover and to explore this unparalleled catalog of classic, catchy and
experimental rock music. John, Paul, George and Ringo will live on for another 40 years...and beyond.
“The
Beatles: 2 by 4” (2
special hours by 4 extraordinary musicians) is a new addition to the WFDU-FM line-up, and
one that were excited to present. Sure, there have been other radio
shows devoted to The Beatles, and some of them are fan favorites, but were confident
that this program will raise the bar on how the legacy of the Fab Four is represented.
Using actual interviews, live performances, rare studio outtakes, and in-depth looks into
every facet of what made The Beatles a phenomenon, The Beatles: 2 by 4
is setting the stage for the continuing Beatles revolution.
The Beatles: 2 by 4 will air every Sunday from
11a.m.- 1 p.m. on
89.1 WFDU-FM. The show is written and produced by WFDU-FM Production Director and Saturday
night (11p.m.-1a.m.) personality, Ghosty, and is hosted by station Program Director Barry
Sheffield.
