Biography
Floyd Cray was inspired to bring forth Gospel Music in a new and fresh
way that would have a positive influence on youth. In 1995 "Gospel Vibrations
was formed and was picked up for radio broadcasting on AM radio. In 1997 Gospel Vibrations
music reviews began and featured a CD review column for the Tri-State Voice Christian
Newspaper. Later on that same year Floyd Cray thought of a way to bring Christian music
videos to cable, and Gospel Vibrations Video Music Show kicked off on public access in the
New York Metro area. As the Video Show & Music reviews became more popular Floyd
realized that he still had a burning desire to bring Gospel Vibrations to FM radio.
In 1999 that desire became a reality and Gospel Vibrations debuted on October 25, 1999 on
89.1 WFDU-FM. Now Gospel Vibrations can be heard on a network of five radio stations
in NY Metro area.
Gospel Vibrations Radio Show features the largest variety of Holy
Hip-Hop Music along with artist interviews and CD on-air release parties from of the most
noted Holy Hip-Hop artists out today. No place else in the New York Metro area can
you get this unique blend of Holy Hip-Hop Music. That is why Gospel Vibrations is the # 1
Holy Hip-Hop Radio program in the New York metro area.
