Nike Battery PH-58
Swedesboro, NJ



The southernmost Nike missile installation in the Garden State, the Swedesboro site followed the "standard" Nike site specification possessing 3 underground missile magazines. Nike Hercules missiles became operational at this site during the early Sixties.

Site PH-58 was manned by units of the active Army until the closure of the nationwide Nike system in the 1970s.
