Yogi Berra is one among many great athletes. He has be quoted by people throughout the years. Some of the things he has said: Baseball is ninety percent mental and the other half is physical. One of my favorites is "If you come to a fork in the road, take it."
I enjoy doing many different activities, but my main hobby, and extra-curricular activity is playing baseball. A day of practice begins at 2:30 pm when I would arrive at the field house to change into my practice uniform. Practice officially begins at 3 oíclock when the team would run to center field and back, and stretch and throw for a combined time of 25 minutes. The following one to two hours would include either taking batting practice, which consists of three rounds, or taking groundballs hit from other players taking their rounds. The first round starts with 2 bunts to the right side and seven hit it where itís pitched. The following round begins with 2 hit and runs, 2 bunts to the left side and 5 free swings. The final round begins with 2 fly balls, and 7 free swings. Batting practice ends around 5:10 pm and if I donít have a night class, I take another 200 ground balls, everyday I try to get better.
