Corruption
"He was a contractor and he wanted to bid on our first new building.
I told him that I would be glad to add his name to the list of those presented
to our architect for possible bidding. As he was leaving, he said hesitatingly,
'By the way, if I get the contract, I'll be glad to take care of you personally.'
To say that I was shocked would be putting it mildly."
