Grading

The grades from exams and tests are raw, numerical scores. The final grade is an average which may be adjusted somewhat (up or down) by scaling. The weighting is as follows: Final, 30%; Midterm, 20%; 1st Lab Test, 20%; 2nd Lab Test, 20%; Field trip, 10%; Total: 100%.
