Working on a Web Page

 

  1. To view your web page you will use either Netscape or Internet Explorer.
  2. To work on your page you will use either pico (on the alpha system)or Wordpad (which is part of Windows 95).
  3. To use pico logon to the alpha, change to the public_html (type cd public_html), and type,

    4. pico index.html

  4. To use Wordpad click on Start | Programs | Accessories | Wordpad
  5. If you use Wordpad you will have to save your work and FTP the work you do up to the alpha.
