README File for Program Distribution Accompanying "Ada 95 Problem Solving and Program Design" by Michael B. Feldman copyright 1996, Addison Wesley Publishing Company ISBN 0-201-87009-6 Comments and questions to mfeldman@seas.gwu.edu This program distribution is intended mainly for the convenience of users of the above text. You may use the programs as you choose for general educational purposes, provided: (1) you must include this README file in any further distribution; (2) if you modify any of the programs and distribute them further, you may add your name and other identifying info to the comment block at the top of the program, but must otherwise leave the comment block unchanged. Keep in mind that these programs were published in a copyrighted text and should be treated accordingly. Files are named according to GNAT conventions for MSDOS, Mac, or Unix file systems, depending upon which distribution you picked up. The files cs1names.txt and cs1nums.txt cross-reference the Ada unit names to the associated program example numbers in the text. These files are sorted by unit name and by example number, respectively. The text presents these programs in a very careful pedagogical order. If you do not have the text, you will probably be frustrated if you try to choose programs at random. I suggest you examine the programs in the order the text presents them, using cs2nums.txt as a guide. Michael Feldman July 1996
