Submission Instructions: Faculty & Professionals
We seek essays (usually 500-1,500 words in length) and a bit less formal in tone) and articles (usually 2,000 – 5,000 words in length).  Please review this site and examine past articles to get a sense of whether your submission is appropriate for this journal.  Email your submission to bpeabody@fdu.edu or gadsden@fdu.edu.

We will acknowledge receipt of your submission within 10  days of receiving it.  If you do not hear from us in this time, please contact us or resubmit your document.

1. The first page of your essay should contain

a) the name, mailing address, email address, and phone number of the author of the piece; if the work is co-authored, include the names of all authors, in the order you would like them to appear, and include contact information for at least one person

b) the title of the piece

2) After your first page you should provide the body of your paper; your pages should be numbered.  After the first page of your essay, you should not identify yourself or your institutional affiliation.

3) Your paper should include a bibliography and any necessary footnotes.  For citations use either a parenthetic Author, Year, page number format - e.g., (Smith 2004, 23) or the University of Chicago formatting system.

4) Submit the document as an attachment saved in either MicrosoftWord for Windows or RTF (Rich Text/Interchange format).
