Thinking about a career in Law?

FDU's Prelaw program provides early exposure to law issues which can help you decide if law is for you. 

Already decided to pursue a career in law?

FDU's Prelaw program will help prepare you for law school. Our students have attended a wide range of law schools, including Ivy League schools. 

FDU offers Prelaw students:

Entrance Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree (B.A. or B.S.) with any major 
  • Completion of the the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) 
  • Letters of recommendation 
  • Official transcripts 
  • Personal statements 


The LSAT:

  • Provides law schools with a basis for comparing you with other students 
  • Provides law schools with a national metric, which they use to evaluate the rest of your materials 
  • Sample tests are available in the LSAT registration packets (available in the Becton College Law Library)
