Biography

 

Thank you very much for visiting my homepage. 

I am currently a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Information Technology at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Vancouver. I received my Ph.D in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada, in 2007, under the supervision of Dr.Peyman Gohari. During my graduate studies at Concordia University, I was a member of the Control and Robotics Group and worked on the Applications of Supervisory Control of Discrete-Event Systems on Real-Time Scheduling. My broad areas of interest are real-time systems, real-time scheduling techniques for embedded systems, real-time control, embedded systems hardware/software design, operating systems, software engineering, computer architecture, discrete-event systems, formal methods and theoretical computer science.

I completed my Master's Thesis at Concordia University in 2003 under the supervision of Dr.Purnendu Sinha and undergraduation in 2000 from Regional Engineering College, Jalandhar, India, in the area of  Electronics and Communication Engineering  with distinction.
