Lance Rook Scholar Awards

Several years ago we began to honor outstanding graduating MS Tax students with the “Lance Rook Scholar Award.”

Professor Rook was a much loved and able professor, a friend and a mentor. He served in the tax program not only as a professor, but also as its director.  During his years as an educator, Professor Rook has left an indelible impression on us all.  Professor Rook passed away in 1998.

Upon completion of the program, graduating students who have achieved academic excellence in the MS in Taxation Program with a 3.8 or higher cumulative grade point average, are eligible and will be selected by the MST program to receive the Lance Rook Scholar Award.

Recipients of this award will be receiving a plaque commemorating their achievement.

Our congratulations to each of the recipients on their high achievement.
